What’s wrong with the throat beating like a heartbeat?

There may be the following clinical reasons for throat beating like a heartbeat: The first reason is that some patients have heart arrhythmias, commonly associated with atrial premature, ventricular premature, supraventricular tachycardia, and so on. Due to the tachycardia, the heartbeat is transmitted to the throat, and the throat feels like a heartbeat. This may occur especially in patients who are strenuously active, or when a malignant arrhythmia is in progress. In this case, it is recommended that the patient rests and is given heart rate lowering medication to control the sensation, which will gradually disappear. The second reason is that some patients have aneurysms or hemangiomas in the neck. The beat of the aneurysm or hemangioma is the same rhythm and the same frequency as the beat of the heart, so the patient will have this abnormal feeling.
