I have cured many hyperthyroidism proptosis in the past few years, and as long as the eye pressure is not high, basically all of them can be completely cured by Chinese herbs alone. There are two types of hyperthyroidism: benign and malignant. Benign hyperthyroidism is mild and easily cured, and is usually cured naturally after hyperthyroidism is controlled. Malignant proptosis is more serious and can occur before, after, or at the same time as hyperthyroidism, and even if the thyroid function is normal, the proptosis can still be very serious. Therefore, from the medical point of view, benign proptosis is mainly due to eyelid spasm, while malignant proptosis is mainly due to some mucin or glycoprotein exudation behind the eyeball pressing on the eyeball. The former is due to hyperactive liver fire that rushes upward to the second eye, while the latter is more complex, due to the mutual condensation of fire, phlegm, dampness and stasis. We have used two different types of tonics, which have enabled many patients to recover. However, for those with hyperthyroidism and increased intraocular pressure, the treatment effect is not satisfactory.
