To determine vulvar nodules, there are usually methods such as palpation and observation of the appearance.
1. Touching method: Generally, a round and hard foreign body can be touched on the local skin of the vulva, and the surface of the nodule may be the same as that of the skin without any change. When the nodule may be touched with the appearance of cystic or hard tissues, it may be caused by vestibular cysts or simple tissue hyperplasia.
2. Observe the appearance: Because there are many causes of vulvar nodules, the appearance of vulvar nodules can vary greatly. If the vulvar nodules are caused by dermatofibroma, the color of the nodules is the same as the color of the skin, and the nodules are hard to the touch and do not have any redness, swelling or pain, and can appear singly or in multiple scatterings.
If the vulvar nodules are caused by bacterial infection, these nodules will have localized redness, swelling and pain, and may even have localized pus, and usually appear singly and are the size of a soybean.
If the above abnormalities occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner for relevant examinations, a clear diagnosis, and targeted treatment to avoid delays in the condition.
