What you can eat after surgical ventilation

After surgical ventilation, there are two kinds of cases. If it is a minor intra-abdominal surgery without intestinal anastomosis or gastro-intestinal anastomosis, etc., you can usually eat and drink after surgical ventilation. Routinely eat fluids or semi-fluids, such as water, rice soup, thin rice, rib soup, pigeon soup, fish soup and so on. Because soup is more easily absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, it can increase nutrition and replenish water. If there is a gastrointestinal anastomosis or intestinal-intestinal anastomosis or other surgery, after surgical ventilation, you can eat according to the healing of the anastomosis. If the anastomosis is considered to be healed, you can start with fluids and semi-fluids. If the anastomosis is poorly supplied with blood and has not completely healed, the diet may have to be delayed a bit.
