Clinical significance of human epitope protein 4

Human epitope protein IV, abbreviated as HE4, is a new tumor marker. It is usually used to do some tumor screening, as an auxiliary diagnostic basis. Elevated human epididymal protein index is usually correlated with gynecological malignancies, such as ovarian cancer. Especially in the early stage of ovarian cancer, when it is not easy to be diagnosed, patients can do the test of this index, and if there is abnormal elevation, combined with relevant clinical symptoms, a clear diagnosis can be made.
