1. Full body examination: Most pregnant women in their third trimester are going to the hospital for the first time to do maternity checkups, and at this time, they have to do a full body examination, such as height, weight, blood pressure, blood routine, urinalysis, liver and kidney function, Hepatitis B, syphilis, AIDS, thyroid function tests and other items.
2. NT examination: NT examination should be done at 11~13+6 weeks of pregnancy to measure the thickness of fetal nuchal translucency and determine whether the fetus has any chromosomal abnormalities.
3. Down’s syndrome screening: you can go to the hospital in the third trimester of pregnancy to do the initial Down’s syndrome screening, which is done by drawing blood, combining the indexes of the blood test and the value of NT to calculate the risk value of fetal trisomy 21 and trisomy 18, and to determine whether the fetus has chromosomal abnormality diseases.
There are more checkups to be done in the third trimester of pregnancy, and it is recommended to go to a regular hospital.
