What’s with the bumps on my arms?

Small bumps on the arm may be related to folliculitis, perifollicular keratosis, lipoma or dermatofibroma and other causes.
1. Folliculitis: arm due to sun exposure, scratching and other external stimuli lead to folliculitis, the appearance of inflammatory follicular papules, herpes or pustules, with varying degrees of itching, surrounded by a red halo, and can be extruded powdery fat-like material.
2. Perifollicular keratosis: the skin of upper arm and other parts has special roughness, follicular papules appear, and there are light brown keratin plugs on the top of them, containing hairs, and sometimes there is slight itching.
3. Lipoma: the tumor manifests as a painless pushable mass of different sizes. Lipoma can appear in the limbs and has no obvious pressure pain.
4. Dermatofibroma: the lesions are ovoid or round solid nodules, smooth or rough, occasionally multiple, with varying diameters and black-brown or brown-red color.
Arm a small bumps may also be caused by other reasons, it is recommended that timely medical treatment, by the doctor to determine the nature of the symptomatic treatment.
