Sepsis refers to a serious systemic infection caused by the invasion of pathogenic bacteria into the human bloodstream, which grows and multiplies and produces a large amount of toxins and metabolites. The manifestations are: chills, high fever, tachycardia, rash, hepatosplenomegaly, and in severe cases, it causes multi-organ failure and even death. Treatment is as follows: i. Removal of the primary lesion, subcutaneous or soft tissue abscess, to be incised and drained; abscess chest to be punctured and pus extracted; biliary tract obstruction to be released. Second, anti-infective treatment, divided into empirical antibacterial therapy and descending-order treatment, the former, such as: intrapulmonary infection can be used penicillin or a generation of cephalosporin; immunocompromised, more than three generations of cephalosporin; fungal sepsis can be used antifungal treatment. The latter can be used for broad-spectrum strong antibacterial drugs, rapid control of pathogenic bacteria. Third, symptomatic treatment, high fever to reduce temperature, shock, anti-shock treatment, maintenance of water, electrolytes, acid-base balance.
