Frequent and urgent urination is in most cases a manifestation of gonorrhea (increased frequency of urination, dripping and astringent pain), which can be treated with acupuncture points such as Zhongji (middle pole), Bladder Yu (bladder), Yinlingquan (Yin Lingquan) and Sanyinjiao (Sanyinjiao).
According to Chinese medicine, gonorrhea is mainly related to the internalization of dampness and heat, and should be treated by strengthening the spleen and kidneys, clearing heat and eliminating dampness (removing heat and dampness from the body), and regulating qi and activating blood circulation.
Commonly used acupoints include Zhongji, Bladder Yu, Yinlingquan and Sanyinjiao, of which Zhongji and Bladder Yu can clear dampness and heat in the lower Jiao (dampness and heat evils invade the intestines, bladder, yin and lower limbs, etc.), and facilitate urination; Yinlingquan can strengthen the spleen and dissolve dampness (strengthen the spleen and remove dampness evils); and Sanyinjiao can regulate qi and invigorate blood circulation.
In addition, if dampness-heat is heavy, it can also be combined with Jisuo and Suiyang, etc.; for qi stagnation and blood stasis (blood stasis due to lack of circulation of qi), it can be combined with Taichong and Blood Sea, etc.; and for kidney yin deficiency, it can be combined with Taixi and Zhaohai.
Specific combinations of acupoints and massage operations are recommended to be carried out under the guidance of a doctor.
