Bleeding after sexual intercourse is also called contact bleeding. If this happens, it is recommended to go to the hospital for gynecological examination to understand the condition of the cervix, whether there are polyps, erosions, cervical canal mucositis and so on, and to perform cervical cancer screening, including TCT and HPV, to exclude precancerous lesions of the cervix and cervical cancer. In case of cervical polyp, cervical polyp removal can be performed and post-operative anti-inflammatory treatment can be given. If the cervical polyp is negative after cervical cancer screening, the cervical polyp can be treated and contact bleeding may not occur again after postoperative wound repair. If it is mucositis of the cervical canal, timely anti-inflammatory treatment and regular review will be sufficient.
