Patients who have ultrasound results that show slightly enhanced parenchymal echogenicity in the liver are more likely to have lesions in some of the liver cells, either due to inflammation causing changes in the nature of some of the liver cells or due to cirrhosis causing fibrosis in some of the liver cells. The patient needs further testing to determine the cause.
Many liver diseases suggest slightly enhanced parenchymal echoes in ultrasound, such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, alcoholic liver, and liver cancer, and the cause needs to be identified as soon as possible to avoid severe disease.
Liver function, ultrasound, liver CT, etc. are usually needed, and some liver cells can also be taken for biopsy to confirm whether cancer is present. Only through systematic examination can we determine the patient’s condition.
Generally, liver cysts do not require special treatment if there are no specific symptoms. However, hepatitis and cirrhosis can develop into liver cancer if left untreated.
Liver diseases are mostly caused by poor lifestyle habits. Patients should ensure enough rest and avoid staying up late to avoid harming the liver. In addition, it is important to ensure a light diet and not to eat greasy or spicy foods, let alone drink alcohol, all of which can burden the liver and aggravate the condition.
