Can rubbing ginger on your face get rid of acne?

Pimples are generally referred to as acne, a chronic inflammatory skin disease of the sebaceous glandular units of hair follicles. Ginger is a food, and rubbing ginger on the face generally does not get rid of acne.
Acne is associated with heredity, androgen-induced hypersecretion of sebum, keratinization of follicular sebaceous gland ducts, propagation of Propionibacterium acnes, and immune-inflammatory response. Ginger, as a flavoring, is generally not significantly effective in treating the condition, and there is no clear information to prove that rubbing ginger on the face will get rid of acne.
Acne can be treated by using ointments such as adapalene, tazarotene and other retinoids to improve follicular sebaceous gland duct keratinization, while combining with benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid and other medications to kill Propionibacterium acnes, but also topical fusidic acid cream, and topical preparations such as chloramphenicol.
If you have acne on your face, you should go to the hospital in time, clarify your condition, follow the doctor’s instructions and standardize the treatment, do not use your own medication, to avoid adverse consequences.
