Survival rate for 6 cm liver cancer

6cm liver cancer without metastasis belongs to intermediate liver cancer, and the 3-year survival rate is generally considered to be about 50%. If the patient is accompanied by blood vessel metastasis, lymph node metastasis or extra-hepatic organ metastasis, such as lung metastasis, bone metastasis, brain metastasis, etc., then it has already progressed to advanced liver cancer, and the 1-year survival rate is only about 50%. The overall survival rate of liver cancer is much worse than that of breast cancer and lung cancer. However, the prognosis of different clinical stages of liver cancer also has a big difference. The 5-year survival rate of early-stage liver cancer can reach more than 70%, and nearly half of the patients can get long-term survival and cure, so early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment are still emphasized for liver cancer. Early-stage liver cancer can be cured by surgical resection and ablation, while for middle and late-stage liver cancer, interventional therapy, local radiotherapy, targeted drugs, immunotherapy and other methods are available, which can also prolong the survival time of patients to a certain extent. It is suggested that patients should go to the hospital in time and under the guidance of physicians, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
