Exercise alone will not restore normalcy to your child’s strabismus. Exercise can only play a supporting role, and needs to be combined with medication, surgery and other methods to promote the recovery of the disease. Children with strabismus can recover from the disease through training methods such as monocular repetitive training method, eyelid pulling method, and focusing method of correction. However, training alone cannot control the development of the disease and should be combined with medication and surgical treatment to improve the prognosis. Children need to choose dilator eye drops, such as atropine, under the guidance of the doctor, so as to correct the internal strabismus caused by abnormal refractive adjustment. In cases where the body allows surgery, strabismus can be treated surgically so as to regulate the extraocular muscles and complete the correction of strabismus by lengthening or shortening the length through cutting, shifting and suturing. Once the diagnosis of strabismus is confirmed, parents need to bring their children to the hospital and cooperate with the doctor to take relevant treatment measures.
