What’s wrong with bleeding after an IVF transplant?

There are more reasons for bleeding after IVF transplantation, which may be caused by postoperative bleeding, early implantation bleeding, failure of implantation, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage and so on.
1. Post-operative bleeding: a small amount of brown secretion may be produced in the vagina in the early post-operative period when contacting the cervical mucosa or cervical erosion surface during the operation.
2. Early implantation bleeding: the process of implantation of the embryo into the endometrium after transfer may cause a small amount of menstrual bleeding.
3. Failure of implantation: bleeding is similar to normal menstruation and may be accompanied by abdominal pain.
4. Ectopic pregnancy: mainly manifested as irregular vaginal bleeding after a certain period of menopause, usually in small amount, dark red or dark brown, often accompanied by abdominal pain.
5. Miscarriage: Early miscarriage (before 12 weeks) bleeding is more, bleeding is often followed by abdominal pain; late miscarriage (12~28 weeks) first abdominal pain and bleeding.
There may be other reasons for bleeding after IVF transplantation, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to improve the relevant examination, under the guidance of the doctor to clarify the cause of the disease, and actively targeted treatment.
