What is an MRI of the liver

The first imaging examination for human liver lesions should be ultrasound. Further examination is required only when liver lesions are found during the ultrasound examination. MRI of the liver includes MR scan, MR enhancement and MR water imaging, known as MRCP. liver cysts, intrahepatic bile duct stones, hepatic hemangiomas and gallbladder stones can be clearly diagnosed by MR scan, while MRCP can more clearly show the intrahepatic bile duct course and the presence of bile duct stenosis, dilatation, stones or occupying lesions. Magnetic resonance enhancement scans can be further used to diagnose the nature of occupying liver lesions, especially for primary and metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma, and have good diagnostic and differential diagnostic value. Enhanced magnetic resonance can be further used to diagnose the nature of liver occupying lesions, especially for primary liver cancer and metastatic liver cancer, with good diagnostic and differential diagnosis. For liver lesions, such as liver cancer, patients are advised to come to regular hospitals for regular doctors for examination as early as possible. MRI can detect the disease early and provide timely treatment.
