What factors contribute to male breast cancer?

Currently, medical experts worldwide do not have a very clear explanation for the cause of breast cancer, except that it has been found to be mainly related to increased estrogen levels. It is known that some congenital or acquired diseases that affect androgens can induce male breast cancer. About 20% of male patients with breast cancer have relatives with similar diseases in their family. Therefore, genetic factors are an important reason for the occurrence of male breast cancer. 2. Estrogen In the treatment of male diseases such as prostate, some drugs containing certain estrogen are taken, which may increase the chance of breast cancer and become an important predisposing factor for men to develop breast cancer. However, this effect is minimal compared to the efficacy of curing the prostate. In addition, some antihypertensive drugs can also cause high estrogen in the body, causing male breast enlargement and even breast cancer. This is because liver disease can affect the metabolism of hormones in the blood, resulting in a large accumulation of estrogen in the body and a relatively low level of androgens. 4, lack of activity and obesity Physical activity can reduce the chance of breast cancer in women, while obesity in middle age will increase the probability of developing breast cancer. The reason is that fat cells can convert androgens into estrogen. This means that obese men have higher levels of estrogen in their bodies. Some obese men found that they are not as fast as normal men’s beard growth, and their fertility is usually limited, so regular exercise and maintain weight can reduce the chance of many diseases and cancer. 5, gynecomastia On the one hand, the general male for breast cancer to lose vigilance: when they find themselves with breast enlargement, and will not associate themselves with the possibility of breast cancer, and will be regarded as gynecomastia; on the other hand, suffering from gynecomastia, the rate of men suffering from breast cancer is 20 to 50 times that of normal men. 6.Radiation Like other cancer triggering factors, strong radiation is also one of the important ones. When a man’s chest is exposed to a large amount of radiation, it may induce the occurrence of breast cancer. In 2001, the Journal of the National Cancer Institute published the results of two studies that revealed the link between light exposure at night and the chance of breast cancer, which proved that: (1) people who work at night are 60% more likely to develop breast cancer than those who do not work at night; (2) light is indeed a risk factor for breast cancer. (2) lights are indeed a risk factor for breast cancer. Light shining on the retina, even during sleep, reduces melatonin production. And these hormones act as inhibitors of estradiol hormone in some mammals, which is strongly associated with breast cancer development.
