Female pleurisy often presents chest pain symptoms, while some patients may also present pleural effusion compression symptoms, systemic symptoms and accompanying symptoms. 1. Typical symptoms: patients have chest pain, which can be aggravated by coughing, deep breathing and sneezing. 2. Symptoms of pleural effusion compression: when the patient has a large amount of pleural effusion, it will compress the lungs, resulting in shortness of breath, dyspnea and so on. 3. Systemic symptoms: some patients may have headache, fever, muscle pain and other systemic symptoms. 4. Accompanying symptoms: Generally, tuberculous pleurisy can be accompanied by night sweats, low-grade fever, dry cough and fatigue. Septic pleurisy may be accompanied by shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, chest tightness, coughing up pus and sputum. Severe cases may also show shock, cyanosis, sepsis and so on.
