How to treat pus in urine

It is important to find out the pathogenic bacteria causing the infection so that the treatment will be more effective. Most of the pus flowing from urine is caused by gonorrhea or non-gonorrhea infection, so the pus flowing should be taken and the secretion culture should be done. We look for gonococcal, mycoplasma, and chlamydia infections in the secretions. Only when the causative pathogen is found can the most efficient treatment plan be carried out. In case of gonococcal infection, treatment with ceftriaxone sodium and penicillin is recommended. Cure can usually be achieved in 3 days. In case of non-gonococcal infection, treatment with azithromycin, roxithromycin, doxycycline, etc. is recommended and cure can be achieved in 10 days in general. If it is a common bacterial infection, oral broad-spectrum antibacterial agents will be effective enough.
