Does cervical spondylosis cause nasal congestion?

Cervical spondylosis does not usually cause nasal congestion. Common types of cervical spondylosis are nerve root type, vertebral artery type, spinal cord type and sympathetic type, and the symptoms are inconsistent from one type to another.
1. Nerve root type cervical spondylosis. The most important manifestations are neck and shoulder pain, neck muscle stiffness, and sensory abnormalities, such as numbness of the upper limbs and fingers or sensory hypersensitivity.
2. Vertebral artery type cervical spondylosis. The main manifestation of the patient is dizziness, sudden violent rotation of the cervical vertebrae may be sudden fainting, some patients may have nausea, vomiting, tinnitus, panic and other symptoms.
3. Spinal cord cervical spondylosis. Patients mainly manifest sensory and motor disorders, such as numbness of one or both upper or lower limbs, weakness of both hands, feeling of stepping on cotton, etc. In severe cases, patients may even have urinary and faecal disorders.
4. Sympathetic cervical spondylosis. Patients may have neck pain, dizziness, tinnitus, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms.
