Clamping training for a few days before catheter removal

The main purpose of clamping training before catheter removal is to exercise the bladder function, which usually lasts for 1 to 2 days.
Intermittent clamping is needed to train bladder reflex function before catheter removal. The catheter needs to be clamped and opened every 3~4 hours to make the bladder fill and empty regularly and promote the recovery of bladder function.
Clamping catheter training usually needs to be performed for 1~2 days, but the exact time may vary as the effect of bladder function training will be different due to different physical conditions, diseases, etc.
If it is necessary to remove the urinary catheter, please ask the patient to cooperate with the healthcare personnel to avoid any harm to the organism due to unauthorized operation or uncooperative operation.
