MRI of the head can be used to examine cerebrovascular disease, intracranial infection, degenerative encephalopathy, cerebral white matter lesions, intracranial tumors and other diseases.
1. Cerebrovascular lesions: cerebrovascular diseases such as cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral infarction, smog disease, aneurysm and so on.
2. Intracranial infections: encephalitis and meningitis caused by viral and bacterial infections, as well as cysticercosis caused by parasitic infections.
3. Degenerative encephalopathy: such as primary cerebellar atrophy, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s syndrome, Huntington’s chorea and so on.
4. Cerebral white matter lesions: such as multiple sclerosis, optic neuromyelitis optica, diffuse sclerosis, myelin sheath developmental disorders and so on.
5. Intracranial tumors: such as glioma, meningioma, pituitary tumor and so on.
If patients have any discomfort, they should actively go to the hospital, complete the examination to make a clear diagnosis, and actively treat under the guidance of the doctor.
