The correct way to use saline wet compresses

The proper way to apply a saline wet compress is to place a moistened medical gauze on a face that has been cleaned. However, saline is not a substitute for medication for treatment. First take out the gauze, fold the gauze about four layers into a container, then pour the saline water into the soaked gauze, put the gauze on the cleaned face for about 15 minutes, and wash the face with water to remove the saline water. The concentration of saline is generally 0.9% and should not be used if the skin is ulcerated, oozing or broken. Saline is not a substitute for medication, and if acne or other symptoms appear on the face, it is recommended to go to a regular hospital to find a professional doctor for treatment.
