Ear drops are used to treat acute and chronic otitis or to soften cerumen in the ear canal. If the disease is on the left side of the ear canal, the head should be tilted to the right and 5-10 drops of ear drops should be applied. After the drops are applied, the ear screen should be pressed so that the medication can enter the deep part of the ear canal completely, and the head should be tilted to the left side again after 10 minutes. Do not use cotton swabs to wipe deep into the ear canal, as this may squeeze the earwax deeper into the ear canal and make it more difficult to remove.
