How long does it take for cervical lymphadenitis to go down, for people with good health, most of them can basically go down in about 1~2 weeks. But the cause of the disease is different, the time is not the same. For acute inflammation of the cervical lymph nodes, after effective treatment for about 1~2 weeks, as the inflammation subsides, the cervical lymphadenitis will soon subside basically; if it is caused by chronic inflammation such as chronic tonsillitis, after long-term anti-infective treatment, the lymphadenitis will gradually subside, at least 1 month or more, but due to the wrapping of the fibrous tissues, it is difficult for the lymph nodes to subside completely. In case of cervical tuberculous lymphadenitis, after effective anti-tuberculosis treatment, the inflammation will still subside slowly because there are many tubercle bacilli in the lymph nodes, which need to be gradually subsided by long-term application of anti-tuberculosis drugs, and it will usually take 1~1.5 years or longer to gradually subside, but it cannot be restored to its original state. All cervical lymphadenitis need to be treated as prescribed by the doctor.
