The efficacy of syphilis treatment is generally related to the degree of progression of the disease; early treatment is generally more effective and may lead to a cure, while late treatment is generally incurable. Early syphilis generally has a duration of less than two years, and through early diagnosis, early treatment and standardized treatment with adequate dosage, eradication can be achieved during the period of the first stage of the chancre; when the chancre is not thoroughly treated to the point where a rash appears in the second stage, the rash can disappear through standardized treatment and can be restored without functional impairment. In the late stage of syphilis, if it is only in the skin and mucous membrane, bone and joint parts, it can be cured, but it can form a scar; there is a gum swelling of the nasal bone, perforation of the palate and so on, which cannot be restored; and there is cardiovascular syphilis, such as heart failure, which cannot be cured. Therefore, after the infection of syphilis, the need for active treatment, usually choose penicillin, ceftriaxone and other antibiotics for treatment, it is recommended to timely consultation, the drug needs to be applied under the guidance of a doctor.
