What’s wrong with insomnia and not being able to sleep for days?

If the patient only has insomnia for a few days and can’t sleep, it is called temporary insomnia, which may be due to study pressure, work pressure, etc. For example, the teenager has an important exam, or has a major meeting to speak, or there is a huge change in life, because these stressful events may lead to insomnia, and sleeping pills can be applied temporarily to improve the sleep condition. After the temporary insomnia is treated with medication, or after the stressful event is eliminated, the patient will mostly return to his/her previous sleep condition. If the patient suffers from prolonged poor sleep, a combination of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments should be applied.
