What is adalimumab injection

Adalimumab injection is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) specific blocking drug, clinically used in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriasis treatment.
Adalimumab injection can specifically bind to TNF, block TNF binding to the corresponding receptor, thus eliminating its biological function, clinically can be used in combination with methotrexate for the treatment of adult moderately-severe active rheumatoid arthritis with poor methotrexate efficacy, and can also be used for the treatment of adult severe active ankylosing spondylitis, adult moderate-severe chronic plaque psoriasis.
It should be noted that the use of adalimumab injection is prohibited in patients who are allergic to any of the components of this drug, patients with active tuberculosis or other serious infectious diseases, and patients with moderate to severe heart failure.
