Both Timosartan and Alisartan can be used to lower blood pressure and both are effective in lowering blood pressure. Both Timosartan and Alisartan can be used to treat hypertensive disorders. Adverse effects of Timosartan are anemia, thrombocytopenia, eosinophilia, allergic reactions, hyperkalemia, depression, insomnia, anxiety, syncope, vertigo, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dry mouth, and stomach upset. Contraindications include those who are allergic to the ingredients of this product, women in mid- to late-term pregnancy, those with biliary obstructive disease, and those with severe hepatic impairment. Adverse reactions of Alisartan include fever, malaise, rapid heart rate, palpitations, nausea, stomach upset, stomach pain, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, dizziness, head swelling, nasal congestion, cough, eye swelling, tinnitus, etc. Contraindications include those who are allergic to any of the ingredients in the drug, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and so on. Both Timosartan and Alisartan should be used under the supervision of a physician.
