What is the efficacy of Yuzu Huangjing

Jade Bamboo has the effect of moisturizing dryness and nourishing yin, which is used for dry and hot cough, etc. Huang Jing has the effect of nourishing yin and replenishing qi, which is used for tiredness and weakness, and premature whitening of hair.
It is sweet and slightly cold in nature, belonging to the lung and stomach meridians, moistens dryness and nourishes yin, quenches thirst and generates fluids. It can be used for lung yin deficiency, dry and hot cough; stomach yin deficiency (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach), internal heat and thirst (internal heat accompanied by symptoms such as overeating, excessive drinking, and excessive urination), and thirst and dryness of the pharynx. It should be taken with caution for those with spleen deficiency (loose stools), and is contraindicated for those with phlegm-dampness-qi stagnation.
Huang Jing is sweet and flat in nature, belonging to the spleen, lung and kidney meridians, and has the effect of strengthening the spleen, nourishing yin and replenishing qi, benefiting the kidneys and moistening the lungs. It can be used for deficiency of qi in the spleen and stomach, deficiency of yin in the stomach, tiredness and fatigue, little food and dry mouth; deficiency of blood and sperm, premature whitening of the beard and hair, aching of the waist and knees, thirst and internal heat; coughing and bleeding with labor and coughing up the blood, and coughing up the lungs with deficiency and dryness. It is not suitable for those with phlegm-dampness congestion, spleen deficiency and dampness obstruction, and Qi stagnation and abdominal fullness.
