Early Signs and Symptoms of Kidney Cancer

Early stage kidney cancer mostly usually has no obvious clinical symptoms and manifestations. The detection rate of asymptomatic kidney cancer is increasing year by year, and currently accounts for about 60%. Early stage kidney cancer patients usually lack clinical symptoms and manifestations. In advanced kidney cancer, hematuria, lumbago and abdominal mass may appear as “triple sign of kidney cancer”, but it only accounts for 6%~10%. Among symptomatic kidney cancer patients, 10%~40% have paraneoplastic syndrome, i.e., a series of tumor-induced systemic symptoms, signs and laboratory abnormalities, including anemia, hypertension, fever, abnormal liver function, hypercalcemia, erythrocytosis, etc. About 30% of symptomatic patients have paraneoplastic syndrome, i.e., a series of tumor-induced systemic symptoms, signs and laboratory abnormalities. About 30% of symptomatic patients with kidney cancer show metastatic symptoms, such as bone pain and persistent cough. If the above symptoms appear, patients are recommended to go to regular hospitals to find out the causes and cooperate with doctors for standardized treatment.
