Myoglobin 260 is abnormal and markedly elevated. Myoglobin is an oxygen-containing binding protein found in skeletal and cardiac muscle. Normal human serum contains minimal amounts of myoglobin, with normal values of 50-85 μg/L measured by ELISA and 6-85 μg/L measured by RIA, so 260 μg/L is markedly elevated. Elevated myoglobin is commonly seen in acute myocardial infarction, and is usually elevated within 2 hours after the onset of the disease, peaks within 12 hours, and returns to normal within 24 to 48 hours. It is also seen in acute skeletal muscle injury, acute or chronic renal failure, shock and other diseases. Myoglobin 260 is obviously elevated, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to identify the cause of the disease and give targeted treatment.
