What medication to take for pulpitis

The pulp is located in the pulp chamber in the central part of the tooth and is a loose connective tissue rich in neurovascularity, communicating only through the apical foramen and the periodontal tissue at the root apex. The main functions of the pulp include nutrition of the dental tissue, formation of dentin, sensory physicochemical changes, defense and restorative functions. Pulpitis is an inflammatory lesion that occurs in the pulp tissue. The inflammatory reaction is due to the thin wall of blood vessels in the pulp, which easily expands and fills with blood and exudes, making the pressure in the pulp cavity increase, while surrounded by the hard dentin wall wrapping, the volume is fixed without extra space to relieve the pressure, and the nerve endings of the tooth are pressurized and produce severe pain. As the saying goes, ‘a toothache is not a disease, but a pain that really kills you’. The treatment of pulpitis includes conservative treatment in internal medicine and specialized treatment in dentistry. Conservative treatment in internal medicine is usually achieved by taking oral anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving drugs, such as Yuanhu Pain Relief Tablets, four tablets three times a day; Huanglian Shangqing Tablets, four tablets three times a day; Niuhuang Detoxification Tablets, four tablets three times a day; Artificial Niuhuang Metronidazole Tablets, two tablets three times a day, etc. (please use the drugs under the specific guidance of your doctor). If conservative treatment is ineffective, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital stomatology department for specialist treatment.
