Acupuncture for weak fingers

Finger weakness can be seen in a variety of causes, such as cervical spondylosis, elbow canal syndrome, hemiplegia and so on. Acupuncture points are different for different causes, such as acupuncture points for spinal cord cervical spondylosis such as pinch spine, Tianzhu, Fengchi, etc., and for elbow canal syndrome such as Quchi, Shakuzawa, and elbow plexus.
Western medicine categorizes cervical spondylosis into 5 types: cervical, radicular, vertebral artery, sympathetic, and spinal. Among them, the spinal type of cervical spondylosis can lead to weakness of the fingers, which can be treated by acupuncture and moxibustion of points such as cervical pinch-joint, tianzhu, fengchi, quchi, waiguan, and ashi point (the point where the sensation of acidity, numbness, distension, and pain is obvious).
Elbow-tube syndrome can cause weakness in the fingers and an inability to perform fine movements. Symptoms can be improved by acupuncture at Quchi, Shakuzawa, Elbow and Ahshi points. Surgery may be considered if conservative treatment is not effective.
Hemiplegia can lead to unilateral finger weakness. Acupuncture and moxibustion can be performed on Neiguan, Shuigou, Jiquan, Shakuzawa, Sanli of the hand, Shoulder and Quchi.
If finger weakness occurs, you should first go to the hospital in a timely manner, under the guidance of a professional doctor’s diagnosis and treatment, the specific treatment should follow the doctor’s instructions according to the cause of the targeted treatment.
