Litchi kernel is the dried mature seeds of Litchi chinensis, family Sapindaceae, with sweet, slightly bitter flavor, warm nature, attributed to the liver and kidney meridians, with the efficacy of promoting qi dispersal, dispelling cold and relieving pain, and can be used for treating abdominal pain caused by cold hernia, testicular swelling and pain and other diseases.
It can be used to treat hernia pain and testicular swelling and pain caused by stagnation of liver meridian, with fennel, neem, green peels and orange kernels; and to treat prolonged pain in the stomach and epigastric region caused by stagnation of liver qi and stagnation of spleen and stomach qi, it is often used with muxiang, xiangsui, chenpi, chi shao and wu yao.
This product can also be used for dysmenorrhea and postpartum abdominal pain caused by liver depression, stagnation of qi and blood stasis.
