Liver puncture biopsy is highly accurate and is a pathologic observation performed by examining a small sample of tissue, but carries certain risks. Liver puncture biopsy is a common test used to confirm the diagnosis of liver cancer, through the use of a fine needle, under the guidance of ultrasound, a small amount of tissue is extracted for biopsy, so as to further analyze and diagnose based on the results. Clinically, the accuracy of using puncture biopsy is relatively high, as it mainly uses liver cells for biopsy assay, i.e. biopsy, so the accuracy is higher. However, since the biopsy only extracts a small amount of tissue, false-negative results may occur when conducting pathological examinations because the tissue is too small, and a comprehensive judgment is needed in combination with symptoms and signs and other auxiliary examinations. In addition, when patients undergo liver puncture biopsy, they should pay attention to bleeding, abdominal pain and other complications caused by puncture. Observation and rest are recommended after puncture.
