What’s a morphine stomach pill?

The generic name for morphine is domperidone, a gastrointestinal prokinetic drug.
Domperidone is a potent peripheral dopamine receptor antagonist with gastroprokinetic effects and is commonly used to treat indigestion, nausea, vomiting, bloating, belching, and other discomforts. After taking the drug, it can act on the gastrointestinal wall, increase gastrointestinal peristalsis and promote gastrointestinal emptying, thus relieving symptoms.
Domperidone may cause insomnia, headache, dry mouth, dizziness, drowsiness, reflux, diarrhea and other symptoms after oral intake, if the adverse reaction is obvious need to stop the drug and consult a doctor.
Domperidone should always be used under the direction of a doctor, and patients should not use the drug on their own.
