Damp-heat syndrome gout is mostly treated by removing heat and dampness, dispelling wind and clearing the channels (removing wind evil and clearing the channels), and Bai Hu Gui Zhi Tang can be used as the basic formula, including gypsum, motherwort, cypress, preventive medicine, almonds, coix seed, red beans, etc. 3. For gout with phlegm and stasis, it is necessary to dissolve phlegm and dissipate stasis, and remove paralysis through the collaterals. The treatment is based on Shuanghe Tang, with medicines such as peach kernel, safflower, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Paeoniae Alba, Zhu Lei, and Ginger Juice. 4. Gout with deficiency of liver and kidney requires tonifying the liver and kidney and relieving pain. If the disease is more prolonged, Duhuo Sheng Tang can be used as the basis, for example, Duhuo, Fangfeng, Cinnamon, Dihuang, Xinxin, Poria, Gentiana Macrophyllae, and so on.
