Heat on the soles of the feet is mostly caused by inflammatory irritation and abnormal sensation. Inflammatory irritation is further divided into bacterial inflammation and sterile inflammation. Bacterial inflammation is mainly bacterial infection of the plantar area, resulting in significant redness, swelling, heat and pain in the plantar area. Aseptic inflammation is seen in two ways: First, it is seen in plantar conjunctivitis, which triggers inflammatory irritation in the plantar fascia area, resulting in heat on the bottom of the foot. Second, it is seen in rheumatic immune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and gouty arthritis, which can also lead to plantar fever. Abnormal sensation is caused by nerve compression and injury, which triggers abnormal sensation in the plantar area with fever.
