Clinical cases.
Case 1: Female, 32 years old, upper lip was too short, upper lip lengthening surgery was performed. Pre-operative and 5-day post-operative photos, incision scar has not yet faded.
Pre-operative precautions.
1, no bleeding disorders and active or progressive diseases of the heart, lungs, liver and kidneys and other important organs, such as patients with hypertension, diabetes or infectious diseases need to be operated after the condition is controlled smoothly.
2, Long-term users of steroid hormones and aspirin and other drugs should preferably stop using them one week before surgery, please consult the relevant doctor.
3.Suspension of surgery is recommended for those who have the following lip conditions: the presence of oral ulcers, folliculitis and other foci of infection in the lips, acute inflammation, etc.
4.Please avoid menstruation period for female patients; suspend surgery in the pre-pregnancy period (3 months) and late pregnancy period (3 months).

Pre-operative preparation.

Post-operative precautions.
1.Ice pack on the lip for 30-60 minutes immediately after surgery, and ice pack 3-4 times a day for 30-60 minutes for the next 3 days
2. The area may be painful the night after surgery, so you can take painkillers or sleeping pills to help you sleep if necessary.
3, the same day into the cold liquid food, 2 days after the normal diet, but 1 week after surgery avoid smoking, alcohol, fish and shrimp, spicy stimulating food.
4. Keep the incision clean before removing the stitches, you can apply erythromycin ointment to keep it moist.

6.Oedema, bruising and bruising in the post-operative area are normal phenomena, which usually subsides gradually in 1-2 weeks, and you can take anti-swelling medication.
7. All sutures will be removed 7 days after surgery.
8. In individual cases, there may be superficial fissures, small local defects or crusts in the incision after suture removal, which generally recover on their own in 3-5 days, and can be locally coated with erythromycin ointment; in individual cases, there may be exposed subcutaneous absorbable threads (white knots), which can be removed by contacting the doctor.
