How to prevent the appearance of lesions in gray matter heterotopias in the brain

Clinically, there is no absolute way to prevent the emergence of lesions in gray matter ectasia. Patients are advised to undergo regular review, strengthen their own immunity, and avoid excessive mental stimulation. Gray matter ectasia is a disease caused by abnormal embryonic nerve migration or failure of apoptosis of neuroblastoma cells in the periventricular matrix. Since any harmful factors may cause abnormal gene expression and altered protein function in the developing brain, which in turn causes the disease, pregnant women should avoid exposure to any poisons, drugs and radioactive substances to avoid gray matter heterotopia. If the child is still diagnosed with gray matter heterotopia after birth, it is necessary to cooperate with the doctor for treatment. It is recommended that the patient undergoes regular checkups, strengthens his/her immune system, and avoids excessive mental stimulation in order to prevent the symptoms from appearing as much as possible. If symptoms such as epilepsy appear, prompt medical attention is recommended.
