HPV test and TCT test belong to the cervical cancer screening program. TCT test is to scrape cells from the cervix and do cervical cytology to find out whether there are malignant cells in the cervix. HPV infection is a high-risk factor leading to the development of cervical cancer, so HPV test is to find out whether there are any high-risk factors leading to the development of cervical cancer, and it is recommended that these two tests should be done every year for normal women of childbearing age. If the results of HPV and TCT tests are negative for two consecutive years, they can be done again at a one-year interval, and if there are problems with the results, further tests need to be done.
