Jin Gui Ren Qi Wan is composed of Di Huang, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum (roasted in wine), Radix Polygoni Multiflori (roasted), Radix Psyllium Heterophyllum (roasted) and Radix Psyllium Heterophyllum (roasted in salt). It is used for conditions such as dysuria (unsmooth urination), edema, lumbar and knee tenderness (a feeling of soreness and weakness in the lumbar and knee regions), and chills (fear of cold and cold limbs) caused by kidney deficiency. Adverse reactions are not clear. Contraindicated in pregnant women. Caution should be exercised in cases of Yin deficiency and internal heat.
Easy Pill and Golden Kidney Qi Pill should be taken under the guidance of a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner’s diagnosis, and should not be used on its own.
