Clinically there is no such thing as the fastest way to recover from astigmatism in children’s eyes. Astigmatism in children can usually be corrected by wearing glasses to improve vision. Astigmatism is mainly caused by the irregular development of the cornea. Astigmatism is usually not self-correcting or reversible and can only be corrected with glasses and surgical treatment, so there is no fastest way to recover from astigmatism. If a child has a large amount of astigmatism, amblyopia may be induced. If the astigmatism affects the child’s vision, the child can correct the astigmatism and improve his/her vision by wearing glasses of appropriate prescription. When the refraction stabilizes in adulthood, if the patient does not want to wear glasses, surgery can be considered to correct the astigmatism, such as corneal laser surgery, intraocular lens implantation, and so on. It is recommended that children with astigmatism consult a doctor in a timely manner to assess their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to choose the appropriate treatment.
