With the progress of society, the pace of life has become faster and work pressure is increasing, women white-collar workers are under high pressure, engaged in high-intensity work, although they have a high salary, but many are in a state of subhealth, mental burden, physical and mental exhaustion, resulting in endocrine disorders, prone to cause breast disease. According to statistics, a larger proportion of people suffering from benign breast disease are brain workers who work under stress; the prevalence rate is higher in urban than rural areas, and higher among white-collar workers than in urban centers, and lower in suburban areas, which is obviously related to the stressful pace of life, high-fat diet, and fertility status. Currently, it is thought that the cause of benign breast disease is related to impaired hormone regulation, possibly an imbalance in the ratio of progesterone to estrogen, which leads to cystic hyperplasia of the breast. Lobular hyperplasia of the breast is more common in adolescent patients, ductal hyperplasia of the breast in late lactation, and cystic hyperplasia of the breast in menopausal patients. Although breast diseases are mostly benign, we still should not take them lightly. Early examination is the key to prevent breast diseases, and young women should frequently self-examine their breasts: within 7-10 days after menstruation, face a mirror and examine yourself. First, check the appearance of the breasts to see if there are orange peel-like wrinkles and dimple-like changes in the skin, and if the nipples are sunken, retracted or elevated. Then put your fingers together on one side and place them flat on the breast, touching gently in turn, either in a clockwise direction or in a counterclockwise direction, first from the inside to the outside, taking care not to press heavily. Finally, squeeze the nipple to see if it is bleeding fluid or brown, dark red or yellowish fluid. If abnormalities are found, the patient should go to the hospital for examination and treatment in a timely manner. In addition to the routine outpatient consultation, advanced color ultrasound, digital mammography can play an auxiliary diagnostic role on the nature of the mass, and coarse needle aspiration biopsy can make qualitative diagnosis. For the examination of nipple overflow, our department’s “breast duct endoscopy” is an intuitive, minimally invasive and leading technology in China, which provides many patients with benign breast duct overflow with precise localization of the lesion and quick recovery after surgery, basically leaving no scar, which is a blessing for women who love beauty. Even once diagnosed with breast cancer, there is no need to be anxious. With the advancement of modern medicine, breast cancer has become a curable cancer, but one must not take it lightly so as not to leave hidden dangers in the occurrence and development of breast cancer. Unlike the previous concept, the treatment of breast cancer has changed from a single surgical treatment model to the current comprehensive treatment model, i.e. surgery, adjuvant chemotherapy (both preoperative and postoperative), and endocrine therapy in a sequential treatment cycle, which greatly reduces the recurrence and metastasis rates. Traditional breast cancer surgery is a complete mastectomy plus axillary lymphadenectomy, sometimes even removing the pectoral muscle and rib cage, and the full, firm and elastic breast will no longer exist after surgery. As a result, most patients suffer from different degrees of psychological damage. Feelings of inferiority, loss and social abandonment haunt them for the rest of their lives. For young women in particular, the blow is brutal and devastating, and some suffer from depression or even go to extremes as a result. For this reason, surgeons have explored and worked for a century to improve their medical techniques. In the last 20 years, breast-conserving surgery and breast reconstruction, have been widely performed up in the world. Since the establishment of our department, we have successfully performed “one-stage reconstruction” and “breast-conserving surgery” for nearly 20 patients under the condition of ensuring surgical safety and technical maturity. With the popularization of breast self-care examination, more and more breast cancers are detected at an early stage, which not only prolongs the survival period of breast cancer patients, but also enables a considerable number of breast cancer patients to preserve their breasts and armpits, thus maintaining their sex appeal and emotional confidence. It has laid a solid foundation for the happiness and harmony of society, family and individuals.
