Pimples on the hairline at the back of the head may be posterior occipital folliculitis and occipital baldness folliculitis. Because this area is prone to induce sweat gland inflammation and folliculitis, it is easy to grow out pimples. Most of them are due to the patient’s long-term staying up late and severe lack of sleep. The local inflammatory reaction is aggravated by the use of inappropriate medications, such as hormonal creams and oral hormonal medications, due to the long-term decline in immune function. It is also possible that while using medication, the patient picks at the acne with his hands, as well as problems with personal hygiene, leading to symptoms of infection, especially in the surface layer of the skin.
