The survival period of advanced gastric cancer is relatively short if it spreads to the abdominal lymph nodes or metastases in the lymph nodes of the whole body. From clinical research or experience, the survival rate of advanced gastric cancer is only 3-6 months, and the survival period may be even shorter for some patients with poor health or elderly people. Younger patients can also take targeted therapy or thermal perfusion physiotherapy for gastric cancer, which may prolong the survival period of lymph node metastasis in advanced stage of gastric cancer. Therefore, as far as possible, symptomatic supportive treatment should be adopted to reduce patients’ pain and improve survival quality.
