There are three genetic tests for advanced liver cancer, including tumor-related markers, hepatitis series and imaging examination. 1. Tumor-related markers: collect patients’ blood for tumor-related markers examination. Tumor markers related to liver cancer mainly contain alpha-fetoprotein, and alpha-fetoprotein of liver cancer patients will have obvious increase. 2. Hepatitis series: collect the patient’s blood for laboratory test, which can find out whether there is the existence of hepatitis B or C. If the patient has these two kinds of inflammation, it can be detected. If the patient has these two types of inflammation, the patient should be actively treated with antiviral therapy. 3. Imaging tests: These include ultrasound or ultrasonography, CT or enhanced CT, etc., which can show various conditions of liver lesions. Genetic testing is still recommended for patients and can be very helpful for surgery.
