What causes blood deficiency?

Blood deficiency may be caused by congenital insufficiency, prolonged illness, weakness of the spleen and stomach, and excessive blood loss.
1. Insufficiency of the innate body: poor innate constitution and insufficient endowment (poor innate constitution and function) lead to insufficient kidney essence, which cannot produce enough qi and blood, thus causing blood deficiency.
2. Weakness of the spleen and stomach: the spleen is the foundation of the later day, the function of transporting and transforming water, grain, essence and micro-organisms is weakened, and thus cannot be transformed into enough qi and blood, which can cause blood deficiency after a long period of time.
3. Prolonged illness: patients who have been ill for a long time will continue to lose their own blood and qi, which can lead to blood deficiency after a long time.
4. Excessive blood loss: Postpartum hemorrhage, vomiting blood, blood in the stool and other blood evidence (non-physiological bleeding disorders), can lead to excessive bleeding, thus leading to blood deficiency.
Patients should go to the hospital in time to clarify the specific cause of the disease and then carry out appropriate treatment. Do not identify the cause on your own, so as not to make a mistake.
