How to normalize speech dysfunction

Speech dysfunction includes respiratory training, tongue flexibility training, pronunciation training, and other training methods. 1. Breathing training: Instruct the patient to breathe naturally, put pressure on the patient’s chest and abdomen at the end of breathing, so as to increase the respiratory volume, and help the patient to master the airflow control skills, and help the patient to make sounds through the impact of airflow on the vocal cords. 2. Tongue Flexibility Training: Strengthen patients’ tongue flexibility training, instruct patients to strengthen the movement of opening and closing their mouths, grinning, tongue stretching forward, tongue retracting, tongue lifting and so on. 3. Pronunciation training: Instruct patients to pronounce the vowel “a” after deep breathing, try to prolong the pronunciation time, then learn to pronounce other vowels, and then learn to pronounce other consonants, and learn step by step, so as to make patients gradually master the pronunciation of words and phrases. 4. Teach patients to participate in whistling, blowing candles and other training methods, so that the airflow is centrally guided. It is recommended to consult a doctor or therapist for treatment of speech dysfunction in order to avoid delays.
